Card Concept #44 {Festive Glory}

Welcome to The Card Concept! Each week we offer up a challenge for you to try, and we hope that you will create a card in one of the styles we have offered here.  The team is divided into the different styles and each designer explains how they were inspired by the challenge!  So come and join us and try your hand at a brand new "style" of card making or work in your comfort zone, it is totally up to you!

We are getting "Festive" and hope you will share a holiday inspired card!

Feel free to use any of the styles of our team or better yet, share you own style by combining one or more of the styles. We want you to have fun and make a card in a style that you feel good about!

The styles are explained HERE.

November Guest Designer

The designers have entered their cards below and they have explained the style they used and the way they were inspired...

Clean & Simple

Sandie

I was inspired by the warm Christmas scene and especially the fireplace with the hanging stockings

Debbie Petersen

I was inspired by the Christmas pine boughs and plaid in the chair.

Clean & Graphic
Clean & Layered

Kerin Sylvester
I was inspired by the overall scene, although my scene is a little more realistic since my Christmas usually ends with one exhausted mom!

Laurie Schmidt
The warm, inviting traditional Christmas colors inspired me!

Shabby Chic
Debbie Marcinkiewicz

I found inspiration this week from the homespun charm in this photo -- the gingham patterns, the rusty snowflake, the red & green color palette and all the twinkle & sparkle!

Deanne Kay
My inspiration came from the colours, stars, and the overall traditional feel!

Freestyle Collage

I was inspired by all the texture in the photo.

Michele K. Henderson
I love the little red barn in the painting on the wall, and the beautiful Christmas greens.

Classy & Elegant

Vicki Burdick

I was inspired by the colors and country feel of the photo.

Mackie

I was inspired by the deep reds, greens and gold

Mixed Media

Julie Gearinger

I was inspired by the warm rustic colors, stars and plaids.

Lilian Forsyth

I was inspired by the colors and poinsettia plants...
